According to statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on domestic automobile production and sales in August, the situation of automobile production and sales in August was better than that of the previous month. From January to August, the output and sales volume exceeded 11 million, an increase of nearly 40% year-on-year. Accumulated production and sales growth continued to slow down.

Statistics show that in August, the production of cars was 1,277.5 thousand vehicles, which was a month-on-month decrease of 0.64%, an increase of 11.99% year-on-year; and sales (wholesale) were 1,322,300 units, an increase of 6.29% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 16.14%. From January to August, the production and sales of automobiles were 11.4096 million vehicles and 11.5822 million vehicles, which was a year-on-year increase of 39.27% ​​and 39.02%. Among them, passenger car production and sales reached 8.65 million units and 8.861 million units, an increase of 41.12% and 39.50% year-on-year. Commercial vehicle production and sales were 2,840,600 units and 2,869,500 units, an increase of 33.92% and 37.61% year-on-year.
